Bob Jones University
In 1927, Evangelist Bob Jones, Sr. founded Bob Jones University because he saw a need to furnish college students with a Christian school to educate America's youth. Today, Bob Jones University, a private, non-denominational, fundamentalist Protestant university, is situated at the edge of the Appalachian foothills in Greenville South Carolina. Each year, over 4,000 students arrive from every state and more than 40 foreign countries.
